Extract it before anything else
An unextracted Zero Point Sprite on your back is still public loot. Elimination drops it for the next player — rarity does not protect you.

Fixed site vs Portable Extractor
Extraction Sites are marked and easy to learn — which also means they get camped. Calling a crate broadcasts your plan.
A Portable Extractor lets you secure the Sprite in a quiet corner. Buy one at an Extraction Site or earn them from Mastery Quests; Mastery Monday often stocks extra extractors on the map.
The clean sequence
Pick up the Sprite so it attaches and the Shield Bubble Jr. passive turns on. Move off the contested chest immediately. Place or call extraction away from the storm edge and active fights. Hold until the canister finishes — then the Sprite is banked permanently and can be summoned in future matches.
- Activate → wait for crate → place Sprite → defend until complete
- Extraction is noisy — clear the immediate area first
- Dust and XP still pay out even if you already own the Sprite
If you die before the extraction finishes, the Sprite is gone from your inventory. Extract first; chase the Victory Royale second.
